Life Begins at Conception
On the web-page, "Life Begins at Conception" by Mary Our Mother, they talk about how life truly begins when a sperm fertilizes an egg. In the article a quote by Evangelium Vitae in 1995 really makes you think about the value of life and if it actually starts at conception, "An embryo is an individual, no matter how small. While the embryo receives cells from the mother and the father, it is neither the mother nor the father". This quote is trying explain how we all consider someone who is an individual a person, a life. Now since an embryo is a mix of it's mother and father, it is already starting to be a person and it's own individual. The website supports this by stating, "Each one [embryo] represents a unique, irreplaceable, never-to-be-reduplicated human being".
